An Important Message from VolunteerWashtenaw

Over the last two years, the VolunteerWashtenaw pilot project provided a valuable way for local nonprofits and volunteers to connect using a local site tailored to the community.

While the pilot was successful, organizational users indicated that they were unable to contribute to the project due to current economic realities and likewise, a partner to carry on the venture as an on-going effort could not be found. As a result, the VolunteerWashtenaw.org pilot will end June 30, 2013.

It has been a pleasure to provide this service to Washtenaw County, and we thank the organizations and volunteers who used the site to strengthen our community. We have identified three well-respected volunteer matching website options that we hope will help organizations and volunteers continue to connect to make Washtenaw County a great place to live!
